Mark E. Bumstead born in Warren, Ohio, on April 15, 1953. Licensed to practice law in all state, county and municipal courts in Ohio in 1980. Also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio. Lifelong resident of Trumbull County, Ohio, currently resides in Cortland, Ohio. Graduated from Lakeview High School in Cortland, Ohio, 1971. Graduated from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania, summa cum laude, in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration, Political Science and Secondary Education. Worked in electronic data processing as a computer programmer and systems analyst for Republic Steel Corporation in Niles and Warren, Ohio from 1975 to 1983. Graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in Akron, Ohio in 1980. Entered the private practice of law as an associate attorney with Kay L. Williams Company, LPA in 1983. Joined Letson, Griffith, Woodall & Lavelle as an associate attorney in 1986. Became a partner/principal in Letson, Griffith, Woodall, Lavelle & Rosenberg Co., L.P.A. in 1991.
PRACTICE AREAS:
Represents employers before the Industrial Commission of Ohio and in the State Courts of Ohio in the defense of workers' compensation claims. Employed by insurance companies to defend their insured policy holders against lawsuits in state, county and municipal courts resulting from events covered by automobile, homeowners and business/commercial insurance policies. Represents people who are injured in motor vehicle accidents and persons injured in other kinds of accidents. Prepares Wills, Living Wills and Powers of Attorney for Health Care. Represents residential landlords and tenants.

Michael W. Rosenberg is a lifetime resident of Warren. He graduated from Harding High School in 1959, received his undergraduate and law school degrees from the University of Michigan in 1963 and 1966, respectively. The relationship with the University of Michigan is deep and abiding, as his sons are also graduates. Mike and his children have established and continue to fund an undergraduate scholarship for senior history students from Ohio at Michigan. In addition, he earned a master of Law in Taxation from Boston University in 1967 and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. Since 1967 he has continuously practiced in Warren, beginning with his father through his death in 1981, jointly with William N. Letson and Charles B. Jarrett, Jr. in 1988 and becoming a shareholder of the firm on January 1, 1995. His areas of practice concentration include federal income planning and preparation, business planning (including exempt organizations and asset protection), business transactions, commercial real estate, private placement of securities and estate planning. He is the principal draftsman of the estate planning documents utilized by the firm and provides client updates on selected decisions and legislation pertaining to estate planning and federal income tax matters. A number of his personal client relationships date back over 50 years when his father was the attorney for the parents or grandparents of local businesses. Lynn B. Griffith III is a lifelong resident of Trumbull County, Ohio and has been practicing law at Letson, Griffith, Woodall, Lavelle & Rosenberg since graduation from The Ohio State University College of Law, with honors, in 1982. Lynn graduated in 1978 from Earlham College, also with honors, earning a B.A. degree in mathematics. His areas of practice include appellate, employment, civil rights, real estate, banking, commercial, personal injury and bankruptcy. Griffith has authored more than 50 appellate briefs filed in a variety of state and federal courts of appeal, and has appeared for numerous oral arguments during his career in private practice.
He is a member of the Trumbull County and Ohio State Bar Associations and has been active for many years in the Trumbull County Bar Association's Law Explorer Post as an adult advisor to high school students interested in legal careers.
Lynn received Northeast Ohio Legal Services pro bono attorney awards in 1997, 1998 and 1999 for providing legal services to indigent clients in civil cases. He successfully appealed a child's denial of social security disability benefits in 1999, also on a pro bono basis, on a referral from the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation, as part of the SSI Kids Disability Project.
Lynn has served on the boards of directors of Children's Rehabilitation Center, Northeast Ohio Legal Services, the Western Reserve Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Trumbull Art Gallery, was legal counsel to the Warren Area Jaycees and the Eastern Ohio Chapter of the ACLU and current serves as Secretary of the Warren Library Association. He is a member of the Warren Rotary Club and of the First Presbyterian Church of Warren. Lynn is married to the former Bernadette Mittal; together, they are raising 4 stepsons and one son born of their marriage.

Edward L. Lavelle is a senior partner in the firm, where his practice is devoted primarily to labor and employment law, workers compensation and insurance defense litigation law. He is certified as a workers’ compensation specialist by the Workers’ Compensation Law Specialty Board of the Ohio State Bar Association. He is trial counsel for General Motors Corporation and Delphi Automotive Systems in Ohio. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Mr. Lavelle earned his J.D. degree from Capital University.
